Maisy Stella is a Canadian actress and singer who has successfully transitioned from a beloved child star to a powerhouse of independent and studio cinema. Raised on a remote farm in Claremont, Ontario, she was born into a musical family; her parents are the country duo The Stellas, and her older sister is the singer Lennon Stella. The sisters skyrocketed to fame in 2012 when their YouTube cover of Robyn’s "Call Your Girlfriend" went viral, leading to their casting as the Conrad sisters in the hit musical drama Nashville. Maisy grew up on the screen, portraying Daphne Conrad for six seasons while simultaneously performing as half of the duo Lennon & Maisy. To be honest, while many child stars struggle with the "second act" of their careers, Maisy’s re-emergence has been nothing short of spectacular.
