Overview
Biography
Margot Ringard Oldra is a French actress who achieved international acclaim as the lead voice of Iris in the 2025 animated feature Arco. Directed by Ugo Bienvenu and Gilles Cazaux, the film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won the prestigious Cristal Award for Best Feature at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival. In the film, Margot voices Iris, a lonely 10-year-old girl living in the year 2075 who befriends a time-traveling boy named Arco. Her performance has been praised for capturing the "timeless hope" and emotional depth of a child navigating a retro-futuristic world. Following the film's success and its 2026 Academy Award nomination, Margot has been recognized as a significant new talent by the European Film Academy.
