Maya Ray Thurman Hawke is an American actress and singer-songwriter who has carved a unique path blending blockbuster nostalgia with indie sensibilities. The daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, she became a global breakout star as Robin Buckley in Netflix's Stranger Things. In 2026, she officially joins another massive dystopia. Hawke has been cast in "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping" (November 20, 2026). She plays the young Wiress, the District 3 victor who would later become known for her genius and eccentricity (and her famous "tick tock" line in Catching Fire). In this prequel, she portrays Wiress during her earlier years as a mentor, acting alongside Joseph Zada's Haymitch Abernathy. Her 2026 slate also includes two major comedies.
