Biography

Megan Many is an American special effects and makeup artist active in film and television since the early 2010s. She graduated from Tom Savini’s Makeup Effects Program in 2005 and began her career working on practical effects and mask design, including time with Specter Studios in Pittsburgh before moving to Los Angeles. Many has contributed to effects work on major Hollywood productions across genres. Her credits include The Avengers, Thor, Pacific Rim, Real Steel, and the Guillermo del Toro horror adaptation Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. In addition to creature and effects work, she is credited in makeup and special effects roles on films like Nightmare Alley and Total Recall. Many’s work blends traditional techniques with modern film‑industry demands, and she has also been involved in conventions and horror‑focused events, bringing her creative craft to fans and peers alike.
