Biography

Mercy Ebosele is a Nigerian actress, producer, and television personality known for her work in Yoruba Nollywood films. Born on July 25 in Oyo State, she hails from Edo State and is the sixth child in a family of seven. She developed an interest in acting during her secondary school years through stage plays before going on to study Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan. She officially joined Nollywood in 2003 and rose to prominence through roles in films such as Adura, Tibitire, Soko Soko, Alasela, and Dodo, becoming a familiar face in the Yoruba movie scene. Beyond acting, she has established herself as a producer, with projects including Febisola, Ibisan, Anike, and Adufe. Recognized for her versatility and consistency, she has earned nominations such as Most Promising Actress and Best New Actress at the City People Movie Awards.
