Biography
Michelle Dede is a Nigerian actress, TV host, producer, and event compere. Born on March 23, 1984, in Germany to Nigerian diplomat Brownson Dede, she grew up across Brazil, Australia, Ethiopia, and the UK. She earned a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing and a postgraduate degree in Communications and Public Relations from the American College in London. Her career began in 2006 when she co-hosted the inaugural edition of Big Brother Nigeria. She later co-produced the romantic comedy Flower Girl (2013) and gained prominence for her role as Tari Gambadia in Desperate Housewives Africa (2015). Her performance in What Lies Within (2017) earned her the Best Actress award at the Best of Nollywood Awards. Beyond acting, Michelle has hosted various television shows, including Moments Nigeria, and served as a brand ambassador for Emmaus Beauty. She is also the sister of comedian Najite Dede.
