Biography
Mofe Duncan, born Josbert Thomas Kwamina Eyimofe Duncan on May 28, 1983, in Lagos, Nigeria, is a distinguished Nigerian actor, director, and media personality. He hails from Delta State and is the youngest of seven children born to Professor J.T.K Duncan, a renowned medical doctor, and Mrs. Molly Thomas, a banker. Mofe pursued higher education at the University of Lagos, where he earned a degree in Biological Sciences. Mofe's career in the entertainment industry began at the age of five when he started modeling for brands such as Nestlé (Maggi). He ventured into acting after university and gained prominence with his role in the 2017 film "Dark Past," produced by Chika Ike and directed by Serah Donald Onyeachor. Since then, he has featured in over 80 Nollywood movies, including notable titles like "The Three Kings" (2018), "Talking Dolls" (2017), and "Sons of the Caliphate" (2016). Beyond acting, Mofe is the CEO of 5ive28, a company specializing in event management, media coverage, filmmaking, and photography. He has also served as a project manager at SDA Productions Limited and has experience hosting shows on HITV and Rhythm FM. In his personal life, Mofe married Jessica Kakkad, a skincare entrepreneur, on August 22, 2015. Their marriage ended in 2019 after four years. Mofe is a devout Christian, enjoys watching horror movies, playing video games, and has a particular fondness for red cars. He is also allergic to grass.
