Nkem Andrea Marchie, born on November 30, 1992, in Nigeria, is a multifaceted Nigerian actress, producer, casting director, and political activist. Hailing from Anambra State, she is the second of three children. Nkem pursued her education in International Relations and Diplomacy at Covenant University in Ogun State, Nigeria. Her acting career commenced in 2014, and over the past decade, she has made significant contributions to Nollywood. Nkem gained recognition for her role as Aramide in The Department (2015) and further showcased her versatility in films like Road to Yesterday (2015), where she portrayed Izu's Mistress. In 2017, she delivered a compelling performance as Moremi in the short film Mo, which delves into themes of exploitation and redemption. Her role in Choke (2022) further solidified her status in the industry. Beyond acting, Nkem has contributed to the industry as a casting director, notably for the TV series The Men's Club (2018). She is also recognized for her activism, believing in the power of Nollywood to reshape perceptions of Nigeria.
