Emeka Okoye (full name Okoye Chukwuemeka Chika Stanley) is a Nigerian actor and producer who began his career in 2002 when he joined the Actors Guild of Nigeria. Hailing from Benin City in Edo State and originally from Anambra State, he has since built an impressive filmography featuring over 70 Nollywood films. He gained widespread recognition for his iconic role as “Papa Pepe” in the hit television series Jenifa’s Diary, a character that has become synonymous with him. Beyond his celebrated role in Jenifa’s Diary, Emeka has continued to showcase his versatility and talents in both acting and production. He co-founded the Nollywood Creative Minds Forum, creating a space for industry collaboration and creative exchange. Known for his comedic flair, he also engages audiences through his digital content as a brand influencer and comedian under the alias “Ozo Economy” or “Mr. Cletus Comedy.” Emeka remains an active figure in the evolving Nollywood industry, beloved for his dynamic performances, creative spirit, and commitment to storytelling.
