Olaiya Temitope

Set in early 20th-century colonial Lagos, the film chronicles the defiance of Oba Esugbayi Eleko against British colonial authorities. The narrative follows his struggle to protect the cultural dignity and freedom of his people against unjust policies, such as the imposition of water rates.

Tife and Sam appear to have a loving marriage, but their relationship is strained by Tife's inability to conceive despite multiple failed IVF attempts. Sam, who manages Tife's late father's company, starts an affair with Becky, a woman from Tife's past whom she trusts. Unbeknownst to Tife, Sam and Becky fall deeply into their relationship, leading to Becky's pregnancy.
