Philip Asaya is a Nigerian creative known for his work as a Nollywood actor, spoken-word poet, scriptwriter, and concept developer. He writes and performs poems that address human stories, often on stage and in recorded pieces. In film and TV, he has appeared in titles like Son of the Soil, Cake (2022), and Suky (2025). Beyond acting, Philip builds narratives behind the scenes. He develops concepts for documentaries, television adverts, and events. He is founder of The Mannequin Mode, organizer of the poetry forum “SIO,” and collaborates with production houses such as Hand and Screen and Tellit Pictures. He also leads his own creative outfit, Philip Asaya’s Creation, to deliver original stories and scripts. His work blends artistry with purpose.
