Remi Ibinola is a Nigerian screenwriter, producer, and director with over 14 years of experience in Nollywood. She holds a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Jos and has furthered her education with a certificate from the University of California's School of Theatre, Film, and Television. As the CEO of Applause Entertainment Productions and Sistasoul Infotainment Productions, she has been instrumental in creating content that resonates with diverse audiences. Her portfolio includes acclaimed films such as The Distance Between, Theo’s Dora, and Glitch (2023), which she directed. Ibinola's storytelling prowess extends to television, having contributed as a writer and producer to series like MTV Shuga, Taste of Love, and Knorr Taste Quest. Her short screenplay, Veronica's Pieces, received an honorable mention in the 2012 Sundance Table Read My Script contest.
