Biography
Rhym Guissé is a Los Angeles–based actor, filmmaker, and screenwriter of Algerian and Malian descent. Born in Algeria, she spent parts of her childhood in Ivory Coast and later moved to Louisiana, where she attended a performing-arts high school and earned a bachelor’s degree in writing. Over more than a decade, she has built a diverse career in film, television, theatre, and behind-the-camera roles — including casting, creative production, and directing. Her credits include an appearance on ABC’s How to Get Away With Murder and theatre work in the Pulitzer-winning play Ruined; she also writes and produces her own projects. Committed to amplifying immigrant, African, and female voices, Guissé uses her experience to craft culturally grounded stories through film and performance.
