Ruke Amata is a Nigerian filmmaker known for his work as a director, producer, and editor. Part of the renowned Amata family, he has contributed to Nollywood through films like Emotional Hazard (2005), The Past Came Calling (2012), Shameful Deceit (2013), and Break or Bend (2023). After relocating to the UK, he launched the reality show Class Act UK, aiming to spotlight African talent. The show's winner starred in The Past Came Calling, which premiered in London, The Gambia, and Ghana. Ruke's work often addresses social issues, such as fraud and family dynamics, reflecting his commitment to meaningful storytelling.
