Ryan Crego is an American animation director, producer, writer, and musician. Born on October 27, 1984, in Northern California, he developed a passion for animation early in life. Crego's career spans over a decade, with notable contributions to DreamWorks Animation and other studios. He is best known as the co-creator and executive producer of Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh, a Netflix animated series that expanded upon the 2015 film Home. Additionally, he directed and co-wrote Arlo the Alligator Boy, a Netflix original musical that showcases his dedication to hand-drawn animation and storytelling. His earlier work includes storyboarding for films like Shrek Forever After, Puss in Boots, and Kung Fu Panda 2. Beyond his professional achievements, Crego is also a father and musician, often drawing inspiration from his personal experiences.
