Samantha Smart is an American actor, writer and producer raised in League City, Texas, known for her work on both screen and stage. She studied classical music and dance at Louisiana State University and continued theatre training in Los Angeles, New York and Paris. On television she had recurring roles in The CW’s Katy Keene and CBS’s Bull, and appeared in God Friended Me and Dear White People. She also appeared in films including the Netflix feature The Noel Diary and independent projects. Smart wrote, produced and starred in the feature Charliebird, which won the Founders Award for Best U.S. Narrative Feature at the 2025 Tribeca Festival. She’s involved in festival screenings and her writing includes original music for her projects. Smart splits her time between the U.S. and France and actively works across film, TV and theatre.
