Steve Pinder is an English actor born on March 30, 1960, in Whalley, Lancashire, England. He is best known for his long-running role as Max Farnham in the British soap Brookside, which he played through most of the 1990s and early 2000s and for which he won acting accolades. Before that, he appeared in series like Crossroads and Foxy Lady early in his career. Beyond Brookside, Pinder’s screen work includes guest roles in dramas such as Casualty, The Bill, Doctors, Hotel Babylon and appearances in Emmerdale. On stage, he has taken on a variety of theatre roles, from touring productions to West End musicals, including multiple runs in Wicked in the roles of Doctor Dillamond and the Wizard. He has stayed active across screen and stage, blending television drama with musical theatre. He continues to work in the UK entertainment industry.
