Samara Weaving is an Australian actress and model known for her work in horror, comedy, and action films. Born on February 23, 1992, in Adelaide, South Australia, she began her acting career on Australian television, appearing in Out of the Blue before gaining wider recognition as Indi Walker on the long-running soap Home and Away from 2009 to 2013. She later moved into international film and television, appearing in the series Ash vs Evil Dead. Weaving rose to global prominence after starring as Grace in the dark comedy-horror film Ready or Not (2019), a breakout role that established her as a modern “scream queen.” She has since appeared in films such as The Babysitter, Guns Akimbo, Bill & Ted Face the Music, and Scream VI. Known for her energetic performances and sharp comedic timing, Weaving continues to build a strong presence in contemporary genre cinema.
