Sulaiman Omotola Ogegbo, widely known by his industry name Spotlyt, is a Nigerian creative professional active in film, music, and visual media. He was born on July 26, 1983, in Lagos and grew up between Lagos and Abuja, where he completed his early education. He later studied Civil Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Minna. Spotlyt began his career as an on-air personality before transitioning fully into entertainment production. Over the years he has worked as a video director, editor, actor, stunt choreographer, and colourist, contributing to a range of creative projects within Nigeria’s growing film and music scenes. His work reflects a blend of technical filmmaking skill and performance innovation, and he has been known by various creative aliases including Spotty Baba and The Castigtor.
