Uduak Isong Oguamanam is a Nigerian scriptwriter, producer, and entrepreneur renowned for her contributions to Nollywood. She is best known for the comedy films Okon Lagos (2011), Okon Goes to School (2013), and Lost in London (2017). Her first film under her production company, Closer Pictures, was Falling (2015), which tells a story of love and betrayal. Oguamanam holds a degree in Communication Arts and Russian from the University of Ibadan and a Master's in New Media and Society from the University of Leicester. She has also attended the Berlinale Talent Campus and workshops at Raindance in the UK. Her work often addresses societal issues, such as stigmatization and female sexual abuse.
