Uyoyou Adia is a dynamic Nigerian filmmaker, screenwriter, and actress who began her career in 2013 with the film Child, Not Bride. A graduate of Osun State University with a B.Sc. in Microbiology, she transitioned into directing, earning acclaim for works like Charge and Bail (2021), The Sessions (2020), and Hey You (2022). Her storytelling prowess has garnered her a nomination for Best Emerging Filmmaker at the African Films and Arts Festival. Adia's dedication to authentic narratives and character-driven stories continues to make her a prominent figure in Nollywood's evolving landscape
