Vanessa Nzediegwu is a Nigerian filmmaker, actress, visual artist, and entrepreneur. Born on May 5, 1981, in Kaduna State, Nigeria, she hails from Delta State. A self-taught artist, Vanessa began her career in Nollywood in 2002, debuting in "Sins of Omission." She has appeared in TV series like M-Net's "Edge of Paradise" and BBC's "Wetin Dey." Vanessa studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. Her directorial debut, "What Lies Within" (2017), won multiple awards, including Best Director at the Best of Nollywood Awards. She founded the Informally Trained Artists Foundation to support self-taught artists and runs Vee Blue World Enterprises
