Yomi E. Adejumo

Biography

Yomi E. Adejumo is a Nollywood director with a sharp eye for storytelling and visual drama. As co-partner and creative director at The Kavod Company Studios, he builds films that focus on character, conflict, and atmosphere. Before that, he worked at Nemsia Studios as an associate director, and has held roles as assistant director and cinematographer—skills he uses to make every scene count. With more than a decade of experience in media, he also has a background in marketing and communications, which gives him strength in shaping both the creative and promotional sides of a film. Adejumo often moves between pre-production design and post-production editing, ensuring that his vision carries through. His work embraces strong visuals and human emotion. He sees filmmaking as an opportunity to tell stories that land with people—stories that feel real. Outside the set, he stays plugged into Nollywood’s evolving landscape, mentoring others and refining his craft. His films show that he values more than spectacle: he cares about purpose.
