98th Oscars Shortlists Announced: Full List of Films in 12 Categories

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has officially announced the shortlists for the 98th Oscars. These shortlists cover 12 award categories and include films that are still in the running for an Oscar nomination.
Final nominations will be announced on January 22, 2026, while the Oscars ceremony will hold on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

ANIMATED SHORT FILM
Fifteen animated short films made the shortlist from over 100 entries. These films come from different countries and styles, showing how creative and diverse animation can be.
