It’s a big week for Nollywood and an emotional one for celebrated filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba. As her latest film “To Kill A Monkey” gears up for its global debut on Netflix tomorrow, July 18, the director took a heartfelt moment today (July 17) to shine the spotlight on someone very special, her brother, Remi Adetiba.
In a touching Instagram post, Kemi paid tribute to Remi, calling him not just her brother but her best friend, creative partner, and a major force behind the making of TKAM. She praised his dedication, artistic genius, and the sacrifices he made to bring the vision to life.
“TKAM is truly YOUR baby and I pray that with this launch, every sacrifice you have made for me, for this project, for KAV gets replenished a million fold... Amen,” she wrote.

Kemi went on to thank Remi for always being by her side through thick and thin, signing off with deep affection:
