Review for Suky
I saw Suky a few weeks ago, and the first thing that stood out to me was the attention to detail. The main character was very believable in his role. As someone who boxes in my free time, the character's movements, carriage, and fights were compelling; a lot of work must have gone into it to make him (and the other fighters) ready to take on the project.\n\nOverall, the story was great as well. It flowed well, and almost everyone got enough screen time. The story ends well, but that is not what sets it apart. The main takeaway is the fact that a debuting director took a chance to let a relatively unknown actor like James Damilare Solomon in a lead role, and not just that, he let the actor's presence shine and carry the role.
