Plot

A poignant documentary following two Tanzanian families, the Mbanos and the Kaayas, on a quest to reclaim the remains of their ancestors. Executed by the German colonial army over a century ago, their remains were taken to Germany for racist research. The film chronicles their emotional journey through bureaucracy and history as they fight to bring their loved ones home.
