Plot

When Vusi Duma, a former convict who was radically saved in jail finds a pouch full of jewellery, he is very conflicted on what to do as he is presently living in extreme poverty. Not knowing who owns it, he decides finally to take it to the police. Unknown to him, the jewellery is stolen property and so the criminals behind it come for him. While at the same time he incurs the anger of his wife who was against him returning what she considered a miracle from God and their passport out of misery. Further trouble is unleashed on Vusi as his former boss, a multimillionaire is prepared to do anything possible to dissuade Vusi from testifying against him in an anti-corruption state investigation. As Vusi’s world crumbles and he is on the run for his life, his faith is seriously tested. And instead of things getting better, it gets worse as he is kidnapped by the criminals to force his cooperation in retrieving the jewellery. Faced with mounting pressure Vusi is forced to decide what is true treasure. THE TREASURE HUNT is an edge-of-your-seat thriller that entertains and encourages hearts.
