Moopi Mothibeli (born March 29, in Sebokeng, Gauteng) is a South African actor celebrated for his dynamic screen presence. He holds a BA in Drama from Tshwane University of Technology and earned an MFA from Ohio State University. Moopi is best known for playing Smanga Moroka, a media mogul of royal descent, on Generations: The Legacy. He made his feature film leading man debut in Hotel on the Koppies, a Charlie Vundla production that premiered on Amazon Prime Video. In television, he also joined The Estate as Mohau Kabi, a role that explores themes of resilience, ambition, and social justice.
