Ajala Sodiq Pelumi is a Nigerian film editor and creative professional who is rapidly establishing himself in the industry. He is a graduate of the EbonyLife Creative Academy (ELCA), specializing in Post-Production. He served as the Editor for the critically acclaimed short film Angel in the Stone (2026). His work on the film was instrumental in shaping its narrative pace and emotional resonance, contributing to its selection for the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards shortlist. As an alumnus of the ELCA 11th Intake, Pelumi is part of a collaborative network of filmmakers who are raising the technical standards of storytelling in Nollywood.

Shalewa, a reclusive autistic teenager, finds comfort in building and repairing objects using metal scraps. Constantly tormented by mischievous siblings, she retreats into her world of creation. When a severe fish shortage in the village river threatens her mother’s livelihood, pushing their family into debt and the risk of eviction, Shalewa is determined to use her skills to help.
