Butterfly, becoming the only actor to win all five major New York theater awards—Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Clarence Derwent, and Theatre World—for a single role. His extensive television credits include portraying Dr. George Huang on Law & Order: SVU, Father Ray Mukada on Oz, and Whiterose/Zhi Zhang in Mr. Robot, for which he earned an Emmy nomination. Wong's film roles encompass Dr. Henry Wu in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises, Captain Li Shang in Disney’s Mulan, and appearances in Seven Years in Tibet and Bird Box.
