Biography
Bowoto Jephthah Oluwatiseyifumi Tanimola, popularly known as Akpororo, is a Nigerian stand-up comedian, vocalist, and actor. Akpororo began his career as a gospel musician before transitioning into comedy. He gained prominence after winning the Calabar zone of the National Comedy Challenge in 2008 and later winning AY's Open Mic Challenge in 2009. His debut live comedy show, "Akpororo vs Akpororo," was held in 2014. Akpororo has also ventured into acting, starring in films such as Head Gone and The Antique. In 2015, he signed a two-year endorsement deal with Airtel Nigeria. He is married to Josephine Abraham, and they have a child together.
