Bunmi Ajakaiye is a Nigerian filmmaker, screenwriter, and director renowned for her impactful contributions to Nollywood. After growing up in Nigeria and spending time in Kenya, she pursued film studies in Australia before returning home to embark on a decade-long career in the Nigerian film industry. Her directorial works include the Netflix Original Glamour Girls (2022), the series The Smart Money Woman (2020), and the film My Wife & I (2017). As a writer, she co-wrote the acclaimed thriller The Black Book (2023). Bunmi also serves as the Director of Media for the Pro Screenwriters Guild of Nigeria and has lectured in Australia.
