Catriona Andrew is a Scottish-born South African actress who became a staple of South African television during the 1990s and 2000s. Born in Huntly, Scotland, she moved to South Africa where she built a successful acting career. She rose to fame with her role as Jane Edwards in the wildly popular M-Net soap opera Egoli: Place of Gold, a character she played for several years. She further solidified her reputation as a dramatic actress with her performance as the ambitious Nadine Shakanovsky in the SABC 3 corporate drama series The Lab. Andrew has also appeared in international productions filmed in South Africa, including Duma and The Adventures of Sinbad, and remains a respected figure in the industry.
