George Lopez is an American comedian, actor, and talk show host who is widely regarded as one of the most influential Latino figures in US entertainment history. His self-titled ABC sitcom, George Lopez (2002–2007), remains a syndication staple and a cultural touchstone for authentic representations of Mexican-American family life. In 2026, Lopez is back on the road with a major Stand-Up Comedy Tour, with dates scheduled throughout the year in cities including Las Vegas, Houston, and Newark. This return to the stage follows the conclusion of his NBC sitcom "Lopez vs Lopez", which was cancelled in May 2025 after a successful three-season run.
