Jesse Sunkwa-Mills is a visionary Ghanaian filmmaker, 3D animator, and creative entrepreneur dedicated to redefining African storytelling. As the CEO and Creative Director of Mills Media, Jesse leads a team of young professionals in producing high-quality digital content that merges history with modern art. He is best known for the acclaimed 3D animated film Asantewaa: Battle for the Golden Stool, which won the Africa Narrative Change Award at AFRIFF and the Best Animation award at the African Indigenous Language Film Festival. A graduate of the University of Education, Winneba, Jesse’s work extends beyond film to include video games and comic books under his "Heroes of the Past" project. He is also the founder of Afrotales+, a streaming platform for African animated content, and the Mills Media Academy. As Executive Secretary of the Animators Association of Ghana, Jesse continues to champion cultural preservation and empower the next generation of African creators.
