Biography

Langley Kirkwood is a South African actor with a career spanning film, television, and theatre. After moving to South Africa as a child, he studied drama at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and began performing professionally on stage. He appeared in award-winning theatre productions before transitioning to screen roles. Kirkwood has acted in international films such as Invictus, Dredd, and Mia and the White Lion, and appeared in TV series including Generation Kill, Black Sails, Banshee, Warrior, and the 2024 series White Lies. Beyond acting, he is active in athletics and has competed in multiple Ironman triathlons in South Africa. His personal life included a marriage to South African model Josie Borain, with whom he has children. He lives and works primarily in Cape Town.
