Biography
Lawrence Chu is a Nigerian-born actor making a name for himself with steady roles across both film and television. In 2023, he appeared as a police officer in the TV series Flaws. By 2024, he had landed a string of supporting parts in films, portraying a minister in The Thing About Men, a landlord in Kidnapped, an immigration officer in JAPA, a detective in Fame and Fury, and a colleague in Meet Me Halfway. In television, he took on the role of a bank executive in A Heart on the Line, featured in the episode “Butterflies.” In 2025, Chu starred as Officer Milo in The Yard, showing up in many episodes. That same year, he played Segun in My Father’s Shadow and took the part of Mr. John in After a Night in July.
