Wale Davies, also known as Tec, is a Nigerian creative professional with a multifaceted career in music, film and entertainment. He is one‑half of the Nigerian rap duo Show Dem Camp, a group credited with helping shape the alté and hip‑hop scene in Nigeria and across Africa, blending influences from across the UK and the US where he spent parts of his early life. Davies also works in artist management and serves as Head of A&R for Africa at Sony Music Publishing, where he mentors and supports rising talent. Alongside music, he writes and produces films. He co‑wrote the screenplay for My Father’s Shadow (2025), a British‑Nigerian drama selected for the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival and noted for marking a milestone for Nigerian cinema. Earlier, he co‑wrote the award‑winning short Lizard, which screened at Sundance and other festivals. His work spans creative storytelling, filmmaking and talent development.
