Dr. Lazare Ki-Zerbo is a Burkinabé philosopher, academic, and intellectual university professor. He’s the son of famed historian Joseph Ki-Zerbo, and leads the Centre international Joseph-Ki-Zerbo pour l’Afrique et sa diaspora (CIJKAD). Known for his thoughtful commentary on politics and society, Ki-Zerbo has voiced concern over Burkina Faso’s security issues and spoken on the need for reform and unity. He teaches philosophy and remains dedicated to promoting Pan-African values and critical thinking across the continent.
