Michael Mando is a Canadian actor widely celebrated for playing intense, morally complex, and terrifyingly charismatic villains. He first achieved cult status in the gaming world for his motion-capture performance as the insane pirate lord Vaas Montenegro in "Far Cry 3" (2012), a role he reprised in Far Cry 6. He gained mainstream critical acclaim as Nacho Varga in the AMC hit series "Better Call Saul" (2015–2022), creating a tragic, layered character that became a fan favorite. In 2026, he makes his long-awaited return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After a nine-year absence since his cameo in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), he returns as Mac Gargan in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (July 2026). This time, he officially suits up as the classic villain The Scorpion, fulfilling the "prison tease" from 2017 where he promised to find Spider-Man. He also showcases his comedic range this year in the Netflix ensemble comedy "72 Hours", starring alongside Kevin Hart.
