Biography
Mike Ezuruonye is a renowned Nigerian actor, director, producer, and entrepreneur. Born on September 20, 1982, in Lagos, Nigeria, he hails from Uzuakoli in Abia State. He is the eldest of four siblings and has a sister, Chichi, who is a physician in the UK. He attended Federal Government College, Taraba, and Archbishop Aggey Memorial School in Lagos. He later obtained a degree in Accounting from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Mike's entry into Nollywood was serendipitous; he was discovered by producer Ruke Amata at a filling station, who encouraged him to pursue acting. He began his acting career in 2003 and has since featured in over 200 films, often portraying romantic leads or complex characters. Beyond acting, Mike has ventured into directing and producing, with notable works like Lagos Real Fake Life and To Kill a Ghost. His contributions have earned him several award nominations, cementing his status as a prominent figure in Nollywood. He is married to Nkechi Nnorom, and they have two children, including a son named Reynold Nkembuchim Ezuruonye, born on October 1, 2011.
