Amelia May "Milly" Alcock is an Australian actress who has rapidly risen to global stardom. She first gained wide recognition for her breakout performance as the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in the HBO fantasy series House of the Dragon (2022), a role that earned her a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination. She began her career in Australian television, most notably starring as the runaway teenager Meg in the acclaimed drama-comedy series Upright alongside Tim Minchin. She has been officially cast as the new Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) in James Gunn's DC Universe. After making her debut in a cameo in Superman (2025), she is set to headline the feature film "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" (June 2026), based on the comic run by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. She also stars in the 2025 Netflix limited series Sirens alongside Julianne Moore and Meghann Fahy.
