Biography

Natasha Likimani is a Kenyan screenwriter, actress, director, and producer renowned for her contributions to African cinema. Beginning her screenwriting career in 2007, she has penned scripts for over 15 television shows, including Makutano Junction, Tahidi High, Kona, and Mali. Her debut feature film, Veve, premiered at the Durban International Film Festival and was among the first Kenyan films featured on Netflix. Likimani also wrote Sincerely Daisy, a coming-of-age film that became the first Kenyan feature to debut on Netflix. As co-founder of the African Female Filmmakers Collective, she champions African storytelling and female representation in film. Her work has garnered international acclaim, including nominations for the Kalasha Awards and an International Digital Emmy
