Ichie (Dr.) Nnaeto Orazulike (OON) is a Nigerian business magnate and social entrepreneur best known as the Founder and Group Managing Director of Genesis Group, a conglomerate with extensive interests in restaurants, hotels, and cinema exhibition (Genesis Cinemas). A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (Accountancy) and an alumnus of Harvard Business School's Executive Program, he has been a pivotal figure in shaping the modern Nigerian entertainment infrastructure. In 2026, Orazulike has taken a central creative and financial role in Nollywood's biggest theatrical event. He serves as an Executive Producer for the film adaptation of Lola Shoneyin’s "The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives" (scheduled for release in December 2026). His company, Genesis Group, is part of the historic "quadripartite" partnership—alongside Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife, Silverbird Group, and Nile Media—formed to produce and distribute the film globally. Orazulike described the project as a "defining moment for African cinema," emphasizing the scale of the collaboration between exhibition giants and production houses. Beyond film, Orazulike sits on the board of Ecobank Nigeria as a Non-Executive Director and holds the national honor of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), awarded for his contributions to the Nigerian economy.
