Biography
Ruben Samuel Fleischer is an American filmmaker celebrated for his bold genre work and commercial success. He holds a degree in History from Wesleyan University, before moving into the industry via commercials and music videos. His feature-film debut, Zombieland (2009), revitalised the zombie-comedy genre. He followed it with 30 Minutes or Less (2011), Gangster Squad (2013), Venom (2018), and Uncharted (2022), earning both critical recognition and commercial hits. His multifaceted experience across commercials, music videos and feature films has cemented him as a versatile and innovative director in Hollywood.
