Biography
Woody Harrelson (born July 23, 1961, in Midland, Texas) is an acclaimed American actor, producer, and social activist. He first gained fame as Woody Boyd on the TV sitcom Cheers (1985–1993), winning an Emmy for the role. He transitioned to film and delivered standout performances in Natural Born Killers (1994), The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) for which he earned an Academy Award nomination and later in No Country for Old Men (2007) and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Known for his versatility, Harrelson starred as President Moran in The Hunger Games series and won the Oscar for Best Actor for The Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022). Off screen, he is an outspoken advocate for environmental issues, veganism, and psychedelic therapy.
