Samuel Animashaun Perry, born on July 6, 1993, in Ikenne, Ogun State, Nigeria, is a multifaceted entertainer known professionally as Broda Shaggi. A graduate in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos, he was inspired by his late father, a drama teacher, to pursue a career in the arts. Broda Shaggi gained prominence through his satirical Instagram skits, notably "Jesus in Mushin," which showcased his comedic talent. His success on social media led to roles in Nollywood films and the release of music projects blending Afrobeat and Fuji genres. He has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards for Best Actor in a Comedy in 2022 and 2023.
