Sidney Onoriode Esiri, known as Dr SID, is a multifaceted Nigerian entertainer and creative professional. Born on May 1, 1980, in Ikeja, Lagos State, he initially pursued dentistry at the University of Ibadan. However, his passion for the arts led him to a successful music career, becoming a prominent figure in Nigeria's Afrobeats scene with hits like "Surulere." Transitioning into filmmaking, Dr SID studied at the New York Film Academy in 2015 and directed his debut feature film, The Order of Things, released in 2022. He currently serves as the Director of Gaming and Tournaments at Unanimous Games, merging his interests in entertainment and esports.
