Biography
Tade Ogidan, born Akintade Ogidan in July 1960 in Lagos, Nigeria, is a renowned Nigerian film and television screenwriter, producer, and director. He began his career at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), where he produced and directed several acclaimed drama series. In 1990, he founded OGD Pictures, through which he has created numerous award-winning films such as "Owo Blow," "Diamond Ring," "Dangerous Twins," and "Gold Statue." Ogidan is celebrated for his versatility in directing films in both English and Yoruba, and for his contributions to the growth of Nollywood. His works often explore themes of family, societal issues, and moral dilemmas.
